Just Call Me...

Oh WOW! That is the only word I can think of to explain the past couple days. God is so powerful and His love cannot be described in words. He has taught me so much about myself and the amazing things we can do when we just simply trust in him.
Tonight for staff worship it was put on my heart to share with my staff a worship I was apart of two years ago during training for Mt TOP. It comes from Exodus 17:8-13. This is where Joshua is to go fight while Moses goes to the top of the hill and holds up a staff to God until the end of the battle. He talks about how his arms become weak, but how Aaron and Hur go grab him a rock to sit on and they both hold up Moses' arms. As long as Moses' arms were up then Joshua won.
I had my staff hold their arms up while I slowly read the scripture. You could see it in every one's faces that their arms were hurting and they were getting tired. We then talked about how this summer we are gonna get tired and feel like we are overwhelmed and all alone. I then had them connect hands so that were all in a circle holding each other's arms up. God never intended for us to do this alone. He never said you had to take on ministry by yourself. He loves us so much and wants to see us succeed that He provides us with support not only through His love,but also through us, His children.
Knowing that I don't have to fight this fight all alone gives me TRUE comfort. God loves ME so much that He provides me with people not only on my staff or even here on this Mountain, but also back in Alabama and all over the US that love and support me. People that pray for me and love me every moment of the day.
We can win this battle, if we TRULY love one another...if we answer the call to LOVE.
I still stand by my title of this blog...all we need is MORE LOVE.
Now time to REST in HIM.
